Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day to all our Forgotten Seed friends. We hope that you have a very nice Valentines Day. I know some people may have not found that special someone out there. It's better to take your time and find Miss. Right or Mr. Right. If you found them, cherish them.

Don't forget your first love........Jesus.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall; not perish but have everlasting life. St. John 3:l6

Happy New Year

Happy New year to all!!!!!

I'm hoping that this New Year will be better than last year. One thing I can say about the New Year is that it is a "New Year". It is a chance to do things differently than the year before. It is a chance to see what you can do that would improve your quality of life. New Years resolution can be nice gestures that get loss somewhere between Jan and March.

If you want to stay on track you can keep a Journal, write your goals, write challenges on the calendar or maybe even keeping a bulletin board with daily and weekly goals.

Reflection on Thanksgiving

For a Thanksgiving Fellowship I was asked to do a presentation of The Lords Prayer in Sign Language. I had taken this class 3 years ago but someone remembered that I knew this skill. I had put it on the back burner, but I can tell you that God will remind you always of what you had agreed to do for his glory. Making A long stroyshort, I did the Lord's Prayer in sign language even though I was a little rusty. The Holy Spirit does bring things back to your remembrance.

At the fellowship one of the ministers said thatI should minister to the deaf. This was confirmation as to what God had said the day before. I know this probably has not occurred to you, but there are deaf people that are waithing to have the word of God ministered to them in sign language. Have you though about signing. It's not as hard as it looks.

Belated Thanksgiving

Happy belated thanksgiving to all!!!!

I hope and trust that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. The traditional dinner that has all the fixing and trimmings. This is a special time of the year that everyone looks to spend time with family and friends. A time of thanks that is much needed throughout the year. A time to reflect on love and appreciation of ones family and friends.

It is also a time to reflect on how blessed we are. If you have Christ in you life you have the ultimate reason to give thanks everyday of your life. Along with our thanks for turkey and good eating we should celebrate Jesus. We give him thanks today and hopefully everyday for dying on the cross for us. We thank him for taking on the sins of humanity and cleaning the slate for those that ask him into there hearts. We give thanks for the trinity God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Harvest is ripe but the Laborer are few

When we see the picture of the man in the field, it is evident he is working alone. This is a good illustration of the scripture Luke 10:2 which says that the harvest is ripe, but the laborers are few. Imagine litterally being the man in the picture trying to take care of a huge field such as this one. What would be some of the things that would go through your mind. I know help comes to my mind; so what comes to yours?

God wants us to be laborers for his work. He needs people who are willing to think of others while doing Gods will. I know many people are out there saying that they are christians, but how many are doing things in the church or in ministry. God is not pleased with people being bench warmers. Jesus is coming soon lets put our hands to the plow.
