Deborah’s Missionary Journey

Deborah’s Missionary Journey

Hi Everyone

I have been mucho Busy. I have been studying and going to classes.with the House of David. I have really learned a lot about ministry. For certain things to take place for Forgotten Seed I realize that there is a lot I will have to do and learn. As they say” be patient with me God is not through with me yet.” I would like you to see some of the interesting bible studies that I have been inspired from. They are Mission minded and have classes such as Evangelism, General Minister, Inetercessory Parayer, etc. Here is the study that was sent to me today.

Why are there so many needs in the world? Did God abandon us, leaving us without the necessary resources to meet the many needs that humanity faces? No, God has not abandoned His people, neither has He forgotten about those in the world. He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of the world, causing all those who believe to have access to the Kingdom and its resources. Yet, with heavens resources readily available and at our fingertips, the many needs of humanity, including miracles, healing, deliverance, and provisions have gone unmet. So the question should actually be, “how do we get heavens resources to those in need (both the Christian and unbeliever)?” Included with this letter is a teaching entitled “The Kingdom Of God (Heaven) Is Within You.” This teaching will increase your knowledge in the Word of God, your understanding of your purpose, the heavenly resources available to you, and if applied, it will dramatically increase your faith level. I will also send this lesson to your e-mail address. If you do not receive this lesson in your e-mail, please call my office at (516) 792-3465 or toll free at 1(877)35-JESUS, or you can e-mail me your e-mail address at Tonyowensmin@optonline.net or Houseofdavidministries@verizon.net (even if you get the whole lesson with this letter, if it is not in your e-mail, please call or e-mail me your e-mail address, because you will often miss other important lessons (teachings) and free books that are given as a blessing to those who I have their e-mail addresses.)

I still want to afford you the opportunity to receive as my Free Gift to you any one or all of these books, “When Jesus Comes”, and/or “Faith To Understand And Activate The Gifts Of The Holy Spirit”, and/or “The Deliverance Course.” You can either call my office at the above telephone number or e-mail your request. Also if you are interested in my free Aspiring Ministry Licensing Program or Ministry Development Program (for those already in Ministry), you can either register on line at www.riversofrevival.com.If you have found these teachings a blessing, then call or e-mail my office to give us the names, mailing addresses and/or e-mail addresses of other Christians that you believe will be benefited by these teachings. For any correspondence that you have for me, write to Tony Owens or House of David Ministries Inc. 71 South Central Ave, suite 102, Valley Stream, NY 11580.

With all the rumors around about the swine flu and cold. Keep taking your Vitamins and take immune fighters. Antioxidants can be our best friend at this time. Drink your orange juice or take your vitamin C daily. It’s important to educate or self on what our body needs, but more important to do the things our body needs. Take care of yourself and say your prayers.

In Memory Of Our Veterans

When you think of memorial Day what do think of? Do you think of a day that we can lounge around the house, barbecue or A day to sleep in. We must give honor where honor is due. We have to say a prayer for those who have fought in the wars gone buy, but we must also remember to pray for the soldiers in Iraq. Without the bravery of the veterans and present soldiers we would not be the free country we are today.

A Big Thank you goes out to all the soldiers out there past and present. God bless you for your heroic acts and unselfishness.

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers out there. Whether your a new mom or a Veteran you deserve an applause for all your efforts of taking care of your children. Especially to single mom’s. Your effort does not go unnoticed. God is aware of all your sacrafices and in many a day you know for a fact that he has given you strength to complete the many task that are from day to day. You are special whether someone gives you a pat on the back and in many cases a warrior. You fight on a daily basis to take care of the needs of your family and in many cases denying yourself.

What greater love than this than a man lay down his life for his friend. Mom you really are a friend.

Happy Easter

I was surprised to know that Easter is not only about Jesus, the Easter bunny or Coloring eggs. These are a compilation of customs and celebration in roman time. When these festival of different religions was combined by Roman Emperor Constantine. He was one of the first christian Roman Emperors. He was trying to please all of the people when he did this. I now know why some people have begun to refer to Easter as Resurrection Sunday. Nothing against those that color eggs and Eat chocolate covered Easter Bunny’s.

Easter Sunday

Hallelujah!!!!! It's resurrection Sunday. Jesus gave us a reason to be happy for this day. Good Friday was the beginning ,but when we look at Sunday he rose with all power in his hand. He made himself an example of what we can do. Though he died for us, if we have excepted Jesus as our savior we can rise again to0. Even though he knew he would die an agonizing death he would show the ultimate example of Love.

What happened on the seconed day-Saturday

Jesus died on calvary on that Friday. My question is what happened between that Friday, and that Easter Sunday. The ultimate question is what was Jesus doing? Where did he go and what was accomblished?

When Jesus died on the cross he said it is finished. That was the ultimate part but something else happened. When he went into Haddes(Hell) unloosed the keys to captivity. All of the people that were on the good side of Hell called Haddess were the great saints such as Abraham, Moses, and all the other people that tried to keep the Commandments. When Jesus went down there it was said that saints were even seen walking about. This was amazing. The devil thought that he had Jesus and that he would not be able to get pass the captivity of Hell, but he rose with all power in his hand.

If you have more feedback let me know. I don't have all the answers.

Today is Good Friday

Today goes down as a day in history. Who would have died for you???

Not many would have died on the cross for your sins. We need to look at all that Jesus has done.

What Did Jesus Do?

1. He was accused of being King of the Jews.

2. He was whipped with 39 stripes on his back.

3. He had a bed of thorns placed on his head.

4. He had to walk all the way to cavalry with a heavy cross on his back (task not completed due to being weak and needing help). Therefore, walked the rest of the way in a hot dusty road to Calvalry.

5. Had his hands nailed to the cross.

6. Had his feet nailed to the cross. Was lifted up with his hands and feet for all to see in humiliation.

7. Nicely baked in the sun for hours until nicely agonized. Forgive those who were involved for they knew not what they had done. Pierced in the side to show that he was dead.

Could you have done all this?? Would you have wanted to??

Whew, I don't know about you but thank God for Jesus OXX Jesus.

March Winds Blowing

March has blown in quickly, and I had no time to say goodbye to February. The new month is in and I was not ready for it. I see God moving like never before. Like the exceleration of the car everything is happening so fast. Time is speeding up. Whatever we have been procrastinating about we need to start. Whatever we did not finish in 2008 must be completed in 2009. Wake up all sleepy heads from slumber; a new day has arrived. Time is winding up ,and prophecy is in play. Don't be left with your work undone.

Happy Valentines Day to all our Forgotten Seed friends. We hope that you have a very nice Valentines Day. I know some people may have not found that special someone out there. It's better to take your time and find Miss. Right or Mr. Right. If you found them, cherish them.

Don't forget your first love........Jesus.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall; not perish but have everlasting life. St. John 3:l6

Reflection on Thanksgiving

For a Thanksgiving Fellowship I was asked to do a presentation of The Lords Prayer in Sign Language. I had taken this class 3 years ago but someone remembered that I knew this skill. I had put it on the back burner, but I can tell you that God will remind you always of what you had agreed to do for his glory. Making A long stroyshort, I did the Lord's Prayer in sign language even though I was a little rusty. The Holy Spirit does bring things back to your remembrance.

At the fellowship one of the ministers said thatI should minister to the deaf. This was confirmation as to what God had said the day before. I know this probably has not occurred to you, but there are deaf people that are waithing to have the word of God ministered to them in sign language. Have you though about signing. It's not as hard as it looks.

Belated Thanksgiving

Happy belated thanksgiving to all!!!!

I hope and trust that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. The traditional dinner that has all the fixing and trimmings. This is a special time of the year that everyone looks to spend time with family and friends. A time of thanks that is much needed throughout the year. A time to reflect on love and appreciation of ones family and friends.

It is also a time to reflect on how blessed we are. If you have Christ in you life you have the ultimate reason to give thanks everyday of your life. Along with our thanks for turkey and good eating we should celebrate Jesus. We give him thanks today and hopefully everyday for dying on the cross for us. We thank him for taking on the sins of humanity and cleaning the slate for those that ask him into there hearts. We give thanks for the trinity God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Harvest is ripe but the Laborer are few

When we see the picture of the man in the field, it is evident he is working alone. This is a good illustration of the scripture Luke 10:2 which says that the harvest is ripe, but the laborers are few. Imagine litterally being the man in the picture trying to take care of a huge field such as this one. What would be some of the things that would go through your mind. I know help comes to my mind; so what comes to yours?

God wants us to be laborers for his work. He needs people who are willing to think of others while doing Gods will. I know many people are out there saying that they are christians, but how many are doing things in the church or in ministry. God is not pleased with people being bench warmers. Jesus is coming soon lets put our hands to the plow.

Why Forgotten Seed

Some people may say why did you choose Forgotten Seed for your missionary outreach. It all started when I wanted to choose a new career that would fit for me. I felt compelled by the lord to take a business class I found for low income people. I didnn't mind because at the time I was doing temp jobs that incorporated me in subing for people who were on vacation or took a day or two. It wasn't so bad but God was pricking on my heart. One night a year and a half ago I went to sleep perpelexed with what type of program can I do. I woke up in a start as if someone had punched me in the stomach. I found my self thinking "that's it, that's it; .....Forgotten Seed." " For they are God's forgotten people. " Who are the Forgotten Seed, but the elderly who are lonely and in need of socialization. I latter felt another tug on West Africa as well due to the fact that my husband is from there. He says that people there are just like here, and because of the political wars things have got rough and a lot of people just don't have jobs. Medical coverage is not like here and people many times can't afford doctors paying cash out of pocket. If you can't pay you can't be seen. Another concern is that Some people don't have but one meal a day. We here have public Assistance, but they don't have this system at all. How do you feel about this let me know your thoughts and concerns. How would you like to help.

Organizations Logo

If you look at the right hand corner you will see the Logo that the lord has helped me to create. It shows the hand of God and how there was a seed that grew to a certain height but it is not complete, just as those that are not doing well are not forgotten by God. They are still growing and with the help of his God and his fellow man. What also comes to mind is please be patient with me God is not threw with me yet. Can you relate.
